Downtown

The downtown area serves as a lively center of activity featuring a wide range of restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment venues. Schools

Redwood City has a variety of public and private school options in and around the city. The Redwood City School District is up and coming with several public elementary and middle schools, including the highly sought-after Roy Cloud elementary school in Emerald Hills. Parks & Recreation

Redwood City offers amazing parks and recreational facilities. It’s home to the popular Red Morton Community Park, which features sports fields, picnic areas, recreation center and the Magical Bridge Park. The nearby Edgewood Park, Stulsaft Park and Natural Preserve provides opportunities for hiking and enjoying the outdoors.

Location

Redwood City is situated on the San Francisco Peninsula, about 25 miles south of San Francisco and 25 miles north of San Jose. It is conveniently located near major highways, and has its own Caltrain station, making it accessible to neighboring cities and the rest of the Bay Area. With a population of 80,500 and city size around 19 square miles (excluding bay).
